BUFFALO, N.Y. – YMCA Buffalo Niagara has $186,000 remaining to reach their 2017 Annual Campaign goal of $775,000. The association is seeking the community’s support to help reach this fundraising goal by April 6, 2017.
Funds raised from the YMCA Annual Campaign give children and families in need an opportunity to take part in programs and services they would otherwise be unable to afford. In 2016, the Y provided 2,484 families throughout Western New York with $982,757 in financial assistance. “The Y provides vital services to the community, and through the annual campaign no one ever has to be denied access to these services due to their financial situation,” said Annual Campaign Chairman, Michael Dolan. The annual campaign supports the Y’s mission to be a charitable, community based organization providing programs designed to build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.
