CHEEKTOWAGA – A toppled power pole has knocked out power to National Grid customers in Cleveland Hill Fire District.
The wind blew over a power pole around 9:30 am behind a home on S. Huxley Drive. Cleveland Hill firefighters said it fell on a shed and the main power lines were smoking according to radio reports.
Further reports said the power line is on a shared fence and firefighters asked for the power company to expedite their response.
Approximately 42 National Grid customers are without power.
