What’s closed on President’s Day 2019

CHEEKTOWAGA – The President’s Day holiday has impacted the hours and operations of some services.

Are banks open?
Most banks are closed, but a few may be open. Best to call first.

Are stock markets open?
The New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq are closed.

Are schools open on Presidents Day?
School districts are closed on Monday as part of a week-long winter break.

Are government offices open?
City, county, state, and federal offices are closed.

Are post offices closed on Presidents day? Is there mail delivery?
U.S. Post offices are closed on Monday. No residential or business deliveries except Holiday Premium/Priority Mail Express. Regular mail delivery, collections, and retail services resume Tuesday.

What about restaurants and stores?  Will Walden Galleria be on regular hours
Most restaurants and stores are open regular hours.  Walden Galleria will be open from 10:00 am to 9:30 pm.  View special deals at the mall during winter break week.

Will trash collection be impacted by Presidents Day?
Trash pickup in Cheektowaga will be on their regularly scheduled days.
