CHEEKTOWAGA – Life Storage at 3154 Union Road has petitioned the town seeking permission to modify their site to improve their business.

Timothy MacVittie of Life Storege Inc., Williamsville, submitted a Development Review Application seeking to demolish two one-story metal clad self-storage buildings to make way for the construction of a new three-story climate-controlled self-storage building.

“The proposed building will be constructed in an area which is currently building and pavement, and as such there will be no increase in impervious area for drainage considerations,” Mr. MacVittie said in his application.

The new building will just about triple the business square footage from 5,918 to 14,400.
