Chief Brian Chapman of the U-Crest Fire Company told Cheektowaga Chronicle that the fire started in the engine compartment of the car and spread into the passenger compartment.  The fire did not impact the store.

No one was hurt. The car appears to be a total loss. It was towed away from the scene by First Choice.
