Toddler falls from South Cheektowaga apartment window

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. – A one-year-old toddler was rushed to the hospital after falling from a third-story window Tuesday night.

The South Line Fire Company, Cheektowaga Police and an AMR ambulance responded to the Sandstone Apartments at 1367 French Road just after 8 p.m.  

“The child was with the parents inside the building, but it appears, from what they said, she fell out a third floor window,” said Andrew Dayton, Chief of South Line Fire Company.

The child was rushed to Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo by AMR ambulance.  A current condition was not immediately known.
