CHEEKTOWAGA – Three people were hurt and needed to be freed from their vehicle after a two-car crash around 9 am Tuesday morning at the intersection of Genesee Street and Buell Avenue.
Police at the scene tell Cheektowaga Chronicle a westbound car on Genesee Street turned left onto Buell Avenue in front of an eastbound vehicle. The eastbound vehicle hit the other car in the front quarter panel area sending it off the road.

All three people were transported to area hospitals for further treatment. Their injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
The driver of the eastbound vehicle was not hurt.
