Sloan firefighters cut rollover victim from car

SLOAN – Firefighters in Sloan had to extricate a victim from a rollover crash early Wednesday morning.

The crash happened around 1:51 am in front of 125 Francis Avenue.

Sloan Active Hose Company Fire Chief Alan Wieberg says the car was on its side when firefighters arrived.  The roof of the vehicle was cut off to free the patient.

The victim was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Cheektowaga Police say they issued three tickets to the driver.
