CHEEKTOWAGA – Inquiring minds reached out to Cheektowaga Chronicle wanting to know what’s going on at the corner of Harlem Road and Northern Parkway.
If you haven’t been by the area in a while the self-service car wash at 2819 Harlem Road was recently torn down by a Hannah Demolition Inc. crew.
Sams Autowash Inc. was sold to 570 Associates XVIII, LLC in 2017. The business has not been operational in some time, and recently the building has fallen onto bad times. The property does not owe any back taxes according to Erie County records.
A source with the Town of Cheektowaga tells Cheektowaga Chronicle that the building was torn down to satisfy a code violation. There hasn’t been any discussion or application regarding future development at the site.
Attempts to reach the managers of 570 Associates XVIII, LLC were unsuccessful.
