CHEEKTOWAGA – Inquiring minds want to know if former Cheektowaga Councilmember James Rogowski is eyeing a Democratic primary challenge for the office of town supervisor.

Reached by phone Thursday, Mr. Rogowski tells Cheektowaga Chronicle that he hasn’t made up his mind just yet, but hinted that news might be made at the R Bar and Grill at 2139 Broadway in Sloan next week Thursday night.

We’ll have to wait and see.

Mr. Rogowski was forced to resign his council seat when he took a misdemeanor plea deal after the Erie County District Attorney’s Office said he attempted to violate an order of protection issued to his wife when prosecutors said he followed his wife in an “aggressive manner” while he was in his vehicle.

He was sentenced to 1-year of probation last November.
