Cheektowaga Chronicle offers reward in Michael Kors theft

CHEEKTOWAGA – The Cheektowaga Police Department is looking to identify the woman pictured in connection to a larceny from a store inside the Walden Galleria Wednesday night.

The larceny occurred at the Michael Kors store during a period of chaos inside the mall on December 26th.  A large metal sign fell making a noise which sounded like a gunshot causing patrons to run through the mall.

“Somebody decided to make off with a number of handbags, took advantage of the situation, looks like seven or eight [bags],” said Chief of Police David Zack.

The Cheektowaga Chronicle will provide a Michael Kors handbag to the first person who can provide credible information to the police that results in an arrest.

Anyone with information that can help police identify the woman should contact Detective Chris Chojnacki at 716-686-3923.
