Police detain two on Park Edge Drive

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. – Two people were detained by Cheektowaga Police Monday morning after a reported burglary.

It happened around 11 a.m. at 70 Park Edge Drive.

Cheektowaga Chronicle documented police officers checking the home with guns drawn and a detective securing dropped evidence in a nearby yard.  It appeared to be some sort of weapon.

A basement window at the home appeared broken. An unidentified man and woman were detained by police.

Police did not return our request for comment at the time of publication Monday evening.
