CHEEKTOWAGA – Formal site plans have been submitted to the Town of Cheektowaga to build the region’s second Chick-fil-A restaurant in front of the Transit Road Wegmans.

Cheektowaga Chronicle first told you about the project back in July. Development plans call for a 5,000 sq ft restaurant capable of seating 130 people.

The location will be built on a 1.22 acre out parcel on Wegmans property.  Traffic will reach the restaurant from the access road.  There will be no access from Transit Road.

The next step in the bureaucratic process will be approval from the Environmental Advisory Committee on September 26th.
