CHEEKTOWAGA – Pine Hill Hose Company organized a fundraiser to help fight breast cancer recently by selling t-shirts and donating the money to Making Strides of Buffalo.
The fire department said they sold around 80 t-shirts. The $450 raised went to Making Strides of Buffalo, an organization through the American Cancer Society that provides many services for people with cancer including rides to appointments, helping with hotel stays during treatments, and even fitting people for wigs.
