Maryvale High School places in Schwebel’s sweepstakes

CHEEKTOWAGA – Schwebel Baking Company announces that a Cheektowaga school is one of ten schools winning the Schwebel’s School Spirit: Schwebel’s Gives Back Sweepstakes.

Maryvale High School placed 5th and will be receiving $100.

Last Fall, consumers of Schwebel’s products nominated Schools and School Organizations for showing their School Spirit.  Ten finalists were voted on from November through December.

“Schwebel Baking Company is a family-owned business founded in 1906 by my Great
Grandparents, Joseph and Dora Schwebel,” says Lee Schwebel, Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Communications. “We are active in the communities we serve from
supporting family-oriented events to local Food Banks, and we wanted to directly impact
students, schools and support education by giving back and rewarding School Spirit.”

Orchard Park Central Schools and West Middle School were also $100 winners.

The top award of $3,000 went to The Boardman High School Band in Ohio.
