Man nearly crashes into Genesee Street McDonald’s

CHEEKTOWAGA – A vehicle nearly crashed into the McDonald’s restaurant on Genesee Street around 10 am Friday morning.

It appears the driver of a sports utility vehicle suffered a medical emergency while he was backing out of a parking space at the restaurant according to a law enforcement source.

The vehicle came to rest feet from the restaurant’s front door causing damage to a pedestrian barricade along the drive-thru lane.
U-Crest firefighters and an AMR ambulance crew treated the patient at the scene before he was transported to Sisters of Charity St. Joseph’s Campus for further treatment.
