Kregg ousts Bayes in Sloan trustee runoff election

SLOAN – The electorate of the Village of Sloan has chosen Jennifer Kregg to replace incumbent Tammy Bayes following a runoff election on April 2nd.

The Buffalo News first reported the results.  The result of the election was 186 to 158.

The runoff election was held after the two candidates tied in the village’s March 19th election.

Trustee candidate Linda Ostempowski secured one of the two seats when she received 126 votes on March 19th.  Incumbent Trustee Caitlin Carlson garnered 105 votes.

Incumbent Trustees Paula Bruscani and Eric Czubaj ran unopposed for two-year terms.
