Knife-wielding Chick-fil-A customer arrested

CHEEKTOWAGA – A knife-wielding Chick-fil-A customer was arrested at the Walden Avenue restaurant Friday night after a confrontation with another customer Cheektowaga Police say.

A disturbance over the proper place in line happened around 8:57 pm between two customers in the Chick-Fil-A drive-thru.

Police say Andrew Beilen, 31, of Blasdell, exited his car, threatened and yelled at the victim that he had a registered gun in the vehicle. He returned to his vehicle and obtained a knife.

Mr. Beilen then approached the victim’s vehicle and held the victim’s door shut while waving the knife and yelling at the Victim.

Police arrived at the scene and following an investigation placed Mr. Beilen under arrest.  He was charged with Menacing 2nd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.
