Good neighbor helps girl missing stuffed animal

CHEEKTOWAGA – A good neighbor came to the aid of a six-year-old girl who lost her pet stuffed animal while trick-or-treating last Wednesday.

After reading the Cheektowaga Chronicle’s article about the missing companion named Chicken, Rebekah Bolibrzuch reached out to us and we put her in touch with the little girl’s family.

Ms. Bolibrzuch emailed us over the weekend to say there is a happy ending to this story.

“I am happy to say that I met with her and mom tonight to gift her with a new sister of Chicken!  It was mine when I was little, then I gave it to my daughter who gave it to my son, who then gave it to Chicken’s mama. He was so happy to help this little heartbroken girl! She was very happy also,” Ms. Bolibrzuch said.

Chicken went missing while the little girl was trick-or-treating around Rutland and Gierlach in Sloan.
