Galleria to light Christmas Tree and welcome Santa Claus

CHEEKTOWAGA – The Walden Galleria will be welcoming Santa Claus to the mall during their 2nd annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 9th.

Decorated with red and gold ornaments and over 2,500 lights, the tree will be located near the Apple store, adjacent to the Santa set.

Guests are invited to come out for the free event which will feature holiday music, light refreshments from Tim Hortons and Mrs. Fields.  The event will run from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm and is sponsored by Toys for Tots.

Balloon artists and other popular holiday characters will also be in attendance for a meet and greet. Parents are encouraged to wear an ugly Christmas sweater to enter to win a $100 Melting Pot Gift Card. Guests who bring a toy donation for Toys for Tots valued at $10 or more will receive a special offer for their Santa photo package.
