CHEEKTOWAGA – Cheektowaga Police say the mother of accused Dollar General shooter Travis Green was warned not to return to the scene of the crime or she will be arrested for trespass.
Ms. Green went to Daryll’s Car Audio and the Dollar General store just after 10 am Thursday. While there, police say she was seeking sympathy for he son saying he is “a good boy.”
“There was a small argument at Dollar General. She confronted them at Daryll’s Car Auto. There was a conversation, apparently, it didn’t get as heated as the one at Dollar General,” said Assistant Chief of Police Jim Speyer.
The Cheektowaga Chronicle observed several police cars on scene and a sergeant was speaking to her. Asst. Chief Speyer says she was advised that she was not welcomed at either establishment.
“We were a referee at that point and advised her that she was not welcomed back at those stores and sent her on her way and she left without incident,” added Asst. Chief Speyer.
She could face arrest for trespass if she returns to the stores.
Earlier in the day, Ms. Green also stopped by the police station as well. “We listened to her and told her it was in the hands of the court now. There was nothing more than we could tell her,” said Asst. Chief Speyer.
