Delta flight loses cabin pressure and makes emergency landing in Buffalo

CHEEKTOWAGA – A Delta Air Lines flight was diverted to Buffalo Niagara International Airport late Sunday morning after the plane lost cabin pressure.

Delta Air Lines Flight 878 was flying to Minneapolis International Airport from Hartford, Connecticut when the cabin of the Boeing 717-200 lost air pressure according to NFTA Spokesperson Helen Tederous.

The plane landed safely at Buffalo Niagara International Airport around Noon under emergency standby conditions.  No one was hurt.

The plane departed Buffalo for Detriot, Michigan just before 10 pm Sunday according to flight tracking data.
