Daniel Ulatowski hired as Amherst’s Principal Planner

CHEEKTOWAGA – Former Cheektowaga Town Planner Daniel Ulatowski has been hired by the Town of Amherst.

Mr. Ulatowski left his town planner position after 26 years a few months ago.  The Amherst Town Board unanimously appointed him to the position of Principal Planner last Monday.

The job is provisional pending the completion of a Civil Service examination according to the hiring resolution.

His first day on the job is Monday, March 25, 2019.  His annual salary is set at $80,000.

Mr. Ulatowski was hired by the Town of Cheektowaga in 1992 and was responsible for all zoning and planning administration. His duties in Amherst will mirror those job responsibilities.
