CHEEKTOWAGA – The Town of Cheektowaga will no longer enforce the winter parking ban for the remainder of the 2018-2019 winter season according to the town’s social media pages.

Town code says an overnight parking ban is to be in effect from November 1st through April 1st to allow for snow plows to effectively clear the streets in case of snow.

With the new dispensation from the town, overnight parking is now allowed.  However, they ask residents to use common sense if we have a snow event.

“Remove your car from the street so our Town Highway plows can get down your street for efficient snow removal,” a social media post said.
