BUFFALO, NY (Submitted) — The Food Bank of WNY is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Cassandra Barrett as Special Events Coordinator. Within this position, Barret will act as the lead contact and project coordinator on events.
Her responsibilities will include the development and execution of plans, budgets and timelines for Food Bank fundraisers and special events. She also will track and maintain sponsor information, coordinate and monitor participation registration and ticket sales for events and assist with donor relations.
“We are thrilled to have Cassandra serve as the organization’s new Special Events Coordinator,” Sarah Snyder, marketing and development manager for the Food Bank of WNY, said, “Her creativity, attention to detail and passion for the Food Bank’s mission make her a valuable asset to the Development team.”
Barrett was most recently employed as a sales management trainee at Enterprise Rent-A-Car. She held previous positions at the Food Bank as Marketing Coordinator and Development Intern.
Barrett earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University at Buffalo in 2017. She currently resides in Cheektowaga, N.Y.
