Cheektowaga Police investigating drive-by shooting

CHEEKTOWAGA – The Cheektowaga Police are classifying a “shots fired” call on February 6th as a drive-by shooting.

Police say eyewitnesses reported hearing four to six shots fired and a light colored, medium sized vehicle with tinted windows speed away southbound on Olcott Place towards Herbert Avenue around 8:00 pm.

No one was hurt.

Several casings were recovered from the area Cheektowaga Chronicle has learned.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call The Town of Cheektowaga Police Department Detective Bureau at 686-3505 or utilize TIP411.
