Emergency responders in Cheektowaga were called out to 160 calls for service on Wednesday, March 20, 2019.

12:23 am – A Virginia Road woman said her daughter pulled a taser and knife on her.  The police arrested her for menacing.

12:51 am – A man was arrested on Slate Creek Drive after he slammed his ex-girlfriend’s head into a door.

1:24 am – The police investigated a strong-armed robbery on Union road.  She said she was walking to Tops when she was robbed.

9:44 am – A resident of Lovejoy Street called the police to report their landlord was pounding on the door.  The tenant insisted that they see a police officer because “it was a crime” that the landlord came to the door unannounced.  The landlord was serving eviction papers.

10:13 am – Cleveland Hill firefighters with the assistance of the town’s Northside fire departments attended to a rubbish fire against a house on Meaford Road.

2:19 pm – A man at the Linda Drive apartments was arrested for falsely reporting that his rental car was stolen.

3:18 pm – A resident of Binner Road said his neighbor on Cleveland Drive was blowing “garbage” into his yard.  The police determined the neighbor dispute was over leaves.

5:15 pm – The police searched the area of Elaine Court after a man ran through a yard via the power fields.  Patrol could not locate the subject.

5:49 pm- Officers checked on kids who were obstructing traffic on Boll Street because they were playing hockey.  The police found two kids playing hockey, but they were not restricting traffic.  The officer asked that dispatchers get the name and phone number of the complainant if they called back because the officer wanted to talk with them.

8:01 pm – One person was arrested on Ellen Drive following a domestic disturbance.

10:15 pm – A woman was arrested on Elkins Drive for criminal mischief following a fight with mom.  She damaged a few items in the house.
