Cheektowaga Police Blotter: Wednesday, July 11, 2018

First responders attended to 215 complaints on July 11, 2018.

1:09 am – A man was hit in the head with an object that required treatment at ECMC.  The incident happened on Viola Drive.  A domestic incident report was filed and an arrest warrant was applied for.

2:22 am – A traffic stop on Harlem Road yielded an arrest for false impersonation and two outstanding arrest warrants from Buffalo and Amherst.

6:38 am – A fire alarm on Genesee Street had Cleveland Hill firefighters finding overcooked food.

6:47 am – A Gualbert Avenue resident left his wallet at the Harlem Road library and today his credit cards are being used.

1:38 pm – The police investigated an unattended death on Kennedy Road.  The resident has not been seen in a few days.  Forks firefighters forced entry into the building and police found the deceased.

 3:03 pm – Cleveland Hill firefighters responded to a car fire on the westbound Kensington Expressway.

3:36 pm – U-Crest firefighters attended to a natural gas leak on Fairvale Drive.

4:31 pm – A teenager pulled out a gun and put a magazine into it outside the Alexander Community Center according to a staff member.  Police could not locate the teen.

5:28 pm – A prisoner was transported to ECMC by ambulance.  The cause was not listed.

9:21 pm – The police stopped a suspicious person trying to cross the railroad tracks near Harlem Road.

11:04 pm – A group of teens playing hide and seek on Cleveland Hill school property was advised by the police and sent on there way.
