Cheektowaga Police Blotter: Wednesday, January 30, 2019

First responders were called to 237 calls for service on Wednesday.

12:30 am – A drunk driver was arrested on Union Road.

5:29 am – A water main broke near the 3200 block of Broadway.

8:10 am – Pine Hill firefighters rescued a woman who was stuck in her car.

10:10 am – A complainant told the police that something fell off a signal on Walden Avenue and cracked her windshield.

10:30 am – A car was burglarized on Century Road, but only change was taken.

10:58 am – Four kids were transported to Children’s Hospital after a crash on I-90.  Three others were transported to ECMC.

12:14 pm – Police officers picked up medication from Walmart for a multiple sclerosis patient on Crocker Street.

3:46 pm – A skid steer Bobcat flipped over on a Broadway sidewalk.  An officer checked on the vehicle six minutes later and did not find anyone inside.

4:49 pm – Cleveland Hill firefighters assisted an 84-year-old man who fell into a snowbank on Ellwood Place.

5:18 pm – A woman on Greenleaf Lane complained to the police after a town plow left two feet of snow in her driveway.  She told the police that she was an essential county employee and the town had to get out.  An officer spoke to her.
