Cheektowaga Police Blotter: Wednesday, January 10, 2018

First responders were called out to 136 incidents across the town on Tuesday. Here are some of the issues. 

2:24 am – The police responded to a burglary alarm at the Sunoco at Cleveland and Beach.  Authorities found a broken front door upon arrival.  An initial investigation found that the suspect stole cigarettes, beef jerky, and change.  The Detective’s Bureau is investigating.

2:53 am – A drunk driver was arrested at a traffic stop on Genesee Street.

5:52 am – An arrest was made for narcotics along the 2800 block of Broadway after the police were called to investigate a man going through trucks in the area.

11:03 am – The police filed a police report for larceny after a man was seen stealing heating fuel from another trailer at Shady Acres Mobile Home Park off Union Road.

2:03 pm – A private snow plow driver operating on E. Delavan Avenue was stopped by the police and told to stop plowing snow into the street.

2:53 pm – A S. Seine Drive resident was assisted up out of the snow and into their house by South Line firefighters after falling and activating their medical alert pendant.

9:54 pm -A 40-year-woman was taken to St. Joe’s after falling at Walden Galleria and suffering a head injury.

10:36 pm – A loose retriever was found on St. Felix Avenue and was booked into the dog pound.
