Cheektowaga Police Blotter: Wednesday, December 26, 2018

First responders were called to 166 incidents on Wednesday.

1:09 am – A man with only $4 to his name was taken home to the Langfield housing complex in Buffalo from the Walden Galleria.

2:13 am – A patrol officer checked on a suspicious person at the Kwik Fill on Cleveland Drive.  The person was from out of state and was using a flashlight looking around the business.  They told the police officer that they lost their gas cap.

9:06 am – A vehicle was burglarized on Sonwill Drive.  A wallet was stolen from the car.

11:58 am – A Linda Drive resident reported that someone took prescriptions from the house.

4:36 pm – The police attended to a fight over a parking spot at 2315 William Street.

6:01 pm – Two teenagers were advised by the police after they were seen by an eyewitness throwing snowballs at passing cars on Broadway.

7:48 pm – NFTA and Buffalo Police checked the area around Villa Maria College after a report of shots fired was reported to the police.  Cheektowaga patrols were busy at the mall.

8:57 pm – Depew Police checked on a report of a man shoplifting a TV from Walmart.  The subject got away, and a complaint slip was issued to the store.

10:05 pm – An intoxicated man was causing trouble in the drive-thru line at the Clinton Street McDonald’s.  He wanted his money back for his food and said the staff was giving him a hard time.
