Cheektowaga Police Blotter: Tuesday, July 3, 2018

First responders attended to 243 complaints on Monday, July 3, 2018.

1:07 am – A stolen Chevrolet Impala from Buffalo was recovered on Pine Ridge Heritage Boulevard.

9:23 am – A resident of Irondale Drive told police FedEx claimed a TV was delivered and signed for on July 2nd.  The 55″ flat screen was never received.

9:25 am – An ambulance supervisor administered medication to a woman in the police lockup.

9:28 am – Two cars on Century Road were gone through overnight.  A GPS and credit card were stolen.

12:34 pm – A stolen Toyota Yaris was found in a parking lot on Genesee Street.

12:53 pm – A watch was stolen from a Genesee Street hotel.

1:29 pm – The dog warden recovered a box of puppies from a backyard on Redwood Drive.

1:53 pm – Rescue firefighters investigated smoke in the basement of a home on Walden Avenue.  Crews isolated the problem to a burned out belt inside a washing machine.

4:27 pm – A Walden Galleria store said someone recently stole $1,000 in merchandise and thought the subject might return the items.

6:43 pm – A man was arrested for stealing items from Game Stop on Union Road.

7:12 pm – Bellevue firefighters attended to a CO issue on Edgebrook.  Several residents were evacuated from the apartment complex and checked out by EMS.  No one was transported to the hospital.

7:41 pm – A stolen vehicle was recovered on George Urban Boulevard.

7:50 pm – A patrol officer checked on a suspicious looking man near a secured area outside police headquarters.  The man was lost and was looking for the front desk.

9:07 pm – A bicycle was stolen from a driveway on Rossler Avenue.

11:25 pm – The police set up a roving watch throughout the overnight for the flag display in Town Park.  

11:33 pm – A woman was arrested on Cayuga Creek Road for assault.  Another woman said she was burned in the face by the assailant.
