Cheektowaga Police Blotter: Tuesday, January 1, 2019

First responders were called to 184 calls for service on Tuesday.

12:13 am – The police checked on an assault victim on Reiman Street.  An ambulance crew checked over the man but he did not go to the hospital.

1:13 am – A resident on Princeton Court was advised after their bonfire was blowing embers all around.

1:11 am – A large party on Lordan Drive was broken up and the parents were strongly advised.

1:55 am – A tree limb was removed from Ludwig Avenue.

2:04 am – Two men were driven home after a fight on Creekside Drive.

2:49 am – An arrest warrant for obstruction of an airway was filed after a domestic assault at the Gardenvillage Apartments.

3:01 am – An arrest warrant was applied for after an intoxicated boyfriend after he punched his girlfriend in the head at an address on Cass Avenue.

12:28 pm – A hand injury was reported at the police station.

1:30 pm – A resident on Grand Prix Drive was advised to not speed up and down the street.

2:15 pm – The police arrested a male for trespass at Walden Galleria.  He was also charged with resisting arrest.

3:44 pm – Doyle firefighters extinguished an oven fire on Bismarck Street.

6:51 pm – An ambulance evaluated a man at police headquarters after it was suspected that he ate drugs.  The man was later transported to ECMC under the mental health law.
