Cheektowaga Police Blotter: Tuesday, February 26, 2019

Emergency responders in Cheektowaga were called out to 160 calls for service on Tuesday, February 26, 2019.

3:29 am – The 7-Eleven at French and Kelly reported that someone stole milk.

7:37 am – Two people were sent to St. Joes after a crash on Genesee Street.

9:46 am – Drug dogs from the NFTA and sheriff’s office conducted a surprise sweep at Cheektowaga Central.  Nothing was found.

12:58 pm – An underage male was arrested at BOCES Harkness on Aero Drive for marijuana possession.

3:10 pm – One person was transported to St. Joes after a head-on crash on Galleria Drive.

4:07 pm – A 14-year-old was hit by a car on Doat Street.  She was transported to Children’s Hospital.

8:01 pm – The police helped officiate a dispute between a man returning bottles and Consumers Beverages on Genesee Street.  The man eventually got his money.

8:07 pm – An attendant at the Oasis gas station on Harlem Road was hit by a customer.

8:42 pm – The police searched Walden Galleria after a mom pinged her missing son’s location to the area.  The search yielded negative results, and a description of the child was left for Walden Galleria security.
