First responders were called out to 170 incidents across the town on Tuesday. Here are some of the issues.
12:22 am – The police filed an unattended death report on St. Paul Court.
2:07 am – A natural death report was filed on Satin Drive. A 76-year-old woman passed away.
8:30 am – One person was transported to ECMC from the scene of a two-car crash on Maryvale Drive.
9:36 am – One person was arrested at Maryvale Schools for larceny.
11:04 am – The owner of a vacant lot on Oehman Boulevard called the police after his orange security fence was removed by a neighbor. The police noted that a new fence was erected by the neighbor but it was unclear if the orange fence crossed property lines. The caller was advised of small claims court.
1:19 pm – One person was arrested at Walden Galleria for Grand Larceny.
3:28 pm – A pedestrian was hit by a Ford Ranger at the west access road to Harlem from Broadway. An ambulance checked out the victim but did not transport to a hospital.
3:38 pm – The police department received a call from Sirius XM saying a car they monitor was just involved in a crash and the driver was not responding. The 2017 Nissan Morano was pinpointed to the rear of Calspan. The crash test company confirmed to the police that it was conducting a test on the car.
4:20 pm – A person was arrested for harassment after a domestic incident on Borden Road.
4:26 pm – An 88-year-old woman passed away on Harlem Road. The police filed an unattended death report.
4:26 pm – One person was transported to St. Joe’s following a two-car crash on William Street.
4:40 pm – A woman was arrested at the Thruway Plaza Tops Markets for shoplifting.
5:17 pm – The police investigated a larceny of $3,800 from a N. Pleasant Parkway resident. It is believed the known suspect stole the money using checks to fund a drug habit.
6:37 pm – An ambulance was called to Beale Avenue after the police found a woman down on the floor while conducting a welfare check. Her son called the police after he couldn’t get ahold of his mom via phone over the past several hours. She was transported to St. Joe’s.
7:13 pm – An employee of an Aspire house on Borden Road was arrested for criminal mischief. The employee got into a disturbance with another staff member and punched a hole in the wall.
9:57 pm – A man was arrested for drunk driving after smashing into a tree on Daniel Avenue. A caller told the police that the man was running up and down the street prior to the arrival of the police. An ambulance was dispatched to attend to the driver.
