Cheektowaga Police Blotter: Thursday, January 10, 2019

First responders were called to 131 calls for service on Thursday.

1:34 am – A woman in the police cellblock suffered an apparent seizure and was transported to ECMC by ambulance.

4:01 am – The area around Olcott Place was checked after a shots fired call was reported to the police.

6:59 am – A man drove 75 feet off Trent Square and needed to be winched out.

9:51 am – Several vehicles were burglarized on Alpine Place.

11:49 am – Child Protective Services referred a case to police detectives.

1:13 pm – A small teacup dog was found near Broadway and Harlem.

2:40 pm – The police investigated a disturbance on Preston Road.  A man was jumped over a money transaction.

2:55 pm – A television and crock pot were stolen during a burglary on Hoerner Avenue.

5:55 pm – A man was arrested on the 3200 block of Harlem Road for giving the police a false name.  They were investigating why the man was screaming outside.

9:41 pm – A patrol officer assisted a woman in a wheelchair to cross Walden Avenue.
