Cheektowaga Police Blotter: Thursday, February 21, 2019

Emergency responders in Cheektowaga were called out to 160 calls for service on Thursday, February 21, 2019.

10:05 am – Four vehicles were ticketed after they ran a stop sign on Towers Boulevard.

11:12 am – A resident of Michael Avenue reported his wallet was stolen either from his home or at the Meyers Recreation Center.

11:42 am – Two people were arrested after a guest of a Genesee Street hotel reported that their wallet was stolen.

1:36 pm – The police filed an unattended death report after South Line firefighters responded to a Haley Lane address to treat an unresponsive man.

1:42 pm – A woman was arrested after shoplifting from the Tops Friendly Markets on Union Road.

4:33 pm – An ambulance checked on a Diabetic prisoner in the police department’s cellblock.

5:18 pm – A wallet and jacket were stolen from an unlocked vehicle at the Walden Galleria.

6:48 pm – A woman told the police that her wallet was stolen at the Walden Galleria.  She put the wallet down but didn’t see anyone steal it.

11:18 pm – The police is investigating the theft of a 55″ TV on Linda Drive.  The resident says the TV was delivered around 1:30 pm according to her neighbor and it was stolen from her porch sometime during the day.
