CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. – First responders were called out to 151 incidents on Thursday. Here are just some of the calls that came into dispatchers. 

12:24 am – A mother called because she was having trouble with her 17-year-old daughter. The call was canceled because everyone in the house went to sleep.

12:32 am – Police were called to Martinique Drive by a father in Tonawanda. He said he got a call from his 12-year-old child. They were hiding in the basement with their 8-year-old sibling because the mother was fighting with the grandma. The mother took off before police arrived. The fight never got physical. 

12:37 am – Four teens in the Galleria parking lot were refusing to leave the area. They were advised to be on their way by police.

2:54 am – An officer on patrol noticed a car with a Louisiana plate parked in Airport Plaza. No one was around. A passer-by in the area told the officer the vehicle had been parked there for the past two weeks.

6:55 am – South Line firefighters were called out to N. Seine Drive. Wires were arching by a pole. The branches of a tree were touching the wires. NYSEG was notified about the issue.

9:00 am – A man and woman and their two dogs were told to “pick up camp” after they were spotted loitering between Delta Sonic and Dunn Tire on Walden Avenue.

9:56 am – Someone at the renal center on Harlem Road opened up a medical delivery. They found three wrapped boxes of NYS Lotto tickets in the box with medical supplies. It turns out the box was re-packed by UPS and the lotto tickets were put in by accident. The responding officer dropped off the tickets to their intended destination on Sheridan Drive. 

11:09 am – A man keeps calling his daughter at work (at Pharoah’s Gentlemen’s Club) because he is upset about her job choice. Everyone was advised about family court options. 

12:14 pm – U-Crest firefighters were called to the Galleria after a woman fell in the Coach store. She was eventually taken to Mt. St. Mary’s Hospital in the Falls.

1:10 pm – Police were called to the M&T Bank in Thruway Plaza to help deal with a woman causing a scene. She was taken to ECMC by ambulance for a mental health evaluation. 

2:18 pm – A man was arrested for shoplifting at Home Depot in the Thruway Plaza.

3:23 pm – Sunglasses and change were reported stolen from a car on Glenwood Court.

3:24 pm – Doyle firefighters were called to put out a grass fire near the start of the bike path. 

3:47 pm – Police were called after a man was pushing a manager at the Apple Store in the Galleria. The manager was not injured. The man was warned that he is no longer allowed in this store. If he is spotted there again, he will be arrested for trespassing. 

3:49 pm – The SPCA was called to Cass Avenue because someone spotted an iguana crossing the road and it was hanging out in their yard. Animal control got the lizard and it was taken to the SPCA. 

5:05 pm – A kid was checked out after being hit by a Jeep while on his bicycle. His mom signed off on further treatment. An accident report was filed.

5:16 pm – A driver was pulled over on Walden Avenue and arrested for driving without a license.

5:21 pm – A call came in from Cherokee Drive. A neighbor sprayed gasoline on the caller’s dog. The gas man would not answer his door to talk with the caller. Police spoke with both neighbors. A message about the case was sent to the dog warden.

6:12 pm – South Line firefighters and an ambulance crew from AMR were called out to Borden Road after a bicyclist was struck by a vehicle. The bicyclist was taken to ECMC and was alert. An accident report was filed.

6:28 pm – A police report was filed because the owner of Mr. Bill’s on Cleveland Drive says someone made a fake Facebook page about the business, and it will not get taken down. 

7:10 pm – One man was taken to ECMC by ambulance after a passer-by noticed he was punched in the face by another man on E. Delavan Avenue. The other guy was taken into custody by police. He was arrested for drunk driving while trying to get away from the scene.

7:42 pm – A driver was pulled over and arrested for marijuana possession on William Street. 

10:02 pm – A woman was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.
