First responders attended to 197 calls for service over September 17, 2018.
12:25 am – A resident of Genesee Street called the police to have an unwelcomed guest removed. It turns out the guest had a warrant from Buffalo and was arrested.
5:13 am – A hotel on Walden Avenue reported that a man walked in and started eating the free breakfast. The man left before a patrol car arrived.
9:17 am – A Lochland Drive resident reported a GMC Sierra stolen. Police determined the vehicle was at the Dart Street impound lot in the City of Buffalo.
11:26 am – A shoplifter at the Genesee Street Family Dollar was arrested.
2:46 pm – Doyle firefighters investigated black smoke coming from a home across the street from the Williamstowne Apartments. The smoke was the result of open burning.
2:56 pm – A 17-year-old student at Erie 1 Boces was suspended for smoking dope on school grounds.
3:55 pm – A man parked on Beach road was blasting vulgar music from his car. The police advised the man to turn down the music and he complied.
7:43 pm – Buffalo Police recovered a stolen Volkswagen Jetta at the intersection of Broadway and Gibson. One person was arrested.
8:32 pm – One person was arrested after the police were called to the Taco Bell to investigate a stolen bookbag.
10:31 pm – A fight broke out between ten people inside El Agave Mexican Restuarant on Union Road. The scuffle was between employees and customers. One female was transported to an address on Maryvale Drive. No arrests were made because none of the combatants involved wanted to press charges.
