First responders were called out to 151 incidents on Monday.
12:32 am – Police were called to what turned out to be a love triangle on George Urban Boulevard. A man’s ex-wife was trying to fight with the new girlfriend. The ex-wife was advised by police to leave.
7:42 am – A police report was filed after windows were smashed and tools were taken from a truck on construction site along Transit Road. Other tools were also reported stolen from the site.
12:42 pm – Two temporary employees were fired for fighting at the Gordon Companies. Police were called to the disturbance. (Cue up: “It’s the most wonderful time of the year“.)
1:38 pm – Police were called to check out a burglary alarm for a sunroom that went off. It turned out it was set off by two pups that were jumping on the sunroom doors while they were left home alone.
2:52 pm – A woman was arrested at Gardenville Parkway for shoplifting from Dollar General.
3:21 pm – A police report was filed for burglary after a resident at Williamstowne Apartments returned to find their apartment door wide open. Their laptop and other items were taken from their home.
4:54 pm – A police report was filed after someone claimed their paycheck was stolen out of their mailbox.
7:02 pm – A person called 911 after they spotted a couple teens on Evergreen Place walking around with a rifle. The caller said her husband confronted the teens. They said the gun was an airsoft rifle. Police caught up with the kids. It was an airsoft gun. They were brought home and their parents were advised.
7:15 pm – Police tried tracking down a man who allegedly took steaks and deli meats from Wegmans on Losson/Transit. He dumped the ‘hot’ items as he ran through the woods behind shops on Transit Road. A police report was filed on the incident.
9:16 pm – A police report was made after threats were made against members of the Rescue Hose Fire Company.
