First responders were called out to 148 incidents on Monday.
2:09 am – One person was arrested for narcotics on Gardenvillage Drive.
2:39 am – A drunk driver was pulled over and arrested on Pine Ridge. They were in a Jeep with Ohio plates. The person was also charged with narcotics and not having a valid license.
6:00 am – U-Crest firefighters were called to check on a small gas spill near the Bank of America on Dick Road.
7:12 am – A police report was filed after a hotel van was stolen from Aloft on Genesee Street.
10:48 am – A man was spotted on the CSX tracks. He was picked up by Cheektowaga Police and given a ride to Jim’s Truck Stop.
1:06 pm – A car was broken into on Glenwood Court.
4:03 pm – Police had to advise a group of teens outside the gas station at Union/Maryvale. They kept harassing people going into the store to buy them a pack of smokes. They were talked to by officers.
4:05 pm – A police report was filed after a drug overdose on Slate Creek Drive. The woman was taken to ECMC for treatment.
4:35 pm – A man was taken to St. Joes for a medical issue from the sporting goods section of Walmart.
5:14 pm – Police spent about 10 minutes tracking down a 9-year-old after their grandparent said he didn’t come home from school. The bus driver said he dropped the kid off at home. He was found at a nearby friend’s house.
6:54 pm – A call came in from a person who said their roommate stole their glasses and broke them before taking off. The roommate also has a number of warrants out for their arrest.
10:03 pm – A man was arrested for stealing a router and the instruction manual from Walmart.
