First responders attended to 225 complaints on Monday, June 11, 2018.
12:26 am – A woman walked into the police station to report that her boyfriend choked her. An officer applied for an arrest warrant.
12:38 am – A patrol officer inside Town Park stopped a male cutting through the park. He told the officer he was going to grandmas house.
2:36 am – A patrol officer on Genesee Street stopped a suspicious vehicle. The driver was working for Skip the Dishes.
7:11 am – A stolen vehicle was recovered on Heritage Court.
9:42 am – A 74-year-old woman died on Jane Drive. An unattended death report was filed.
10:31 am – A Poinciana Parkway landlord filed a criminal mischief report after a tenant’s child intentionally broke several basement windows.
10:41 am – Two shoplifters were arrested after stealing from a store at the Thruway Plaza. A counterfeit $5.00 bill was later found on one of the suspects and an additional charge of Possession of a Forged Instrument was added.
11:16 am – Rescue firefighters extinguished a grass fire on Walden Avenue. Sloan firefighters assisted at the scene.
1:33 pm – A bicycle was stolen from a driveway on Grand Boulevard.
2:14 pm – A teenage conman gave a Gardenvillage Drive resident fake money and ran off with a phone that was being sold.
3:45 pm – South Line firefighters extinguished a mulch fire on the 1200 block of French Road.
4:54 pm – Cleveland Hill firefighters attended to a three-car crash on Harlem Road. Five people were hurt. Three were transported to the hospital.
7:53 pm – A chainsaw and a can of gasoline were stolen from a garage on Treehaven Road.
8:50 pm – Cleveland Hill firefighters investigated a fire inside a cigarette disposal can behind a building on the 3400 Harlem Road.
9:12 pm – Doyle firefighters made sure a lawn mower fire was extinguished on Medina Street.
10:48 pm – Cleveland Hill firefighters ventilated a Trent Square apartment after the resident overcooked food in the oven.
10:54 pm – A man was arrested on Windwood Court after he threatened to stab his mother with a pocket knife.
