Monday, first responders were called out to 146 incidents across the town. 

1:51 am – A man was arrested after a woman woke up on Gabrielle Drive to find her niece’s boyfriend pulling her ring off her finger while she slept. 

3:26 am – A driver was pulled over on Harlem Road and arrested for reckless operation. 

7:40 am – A police report was filed after someone made a threat on Facebook to shoot up a movie theater.

9:08 am – $300 was reported stolen from a locked vehicle on Glenwood Court. 

10:43 am – A dog was hit on the outbound 33 near Harlem Road. Animal Control took the dog to the vet, but according to an update from totallybuffalo, she did not survive her injuries. 

10:48 am – A police report was filed after someone said they had their car towed from the 90, and they found a rock was thrown through the back window of the vehicle while it was at the Davron lot on Broadway.

12:48 pm – Three people were arrested for drugs after an Assistant Chief from Bellvue FD called police while he noticed a man shooting up drugs while driving on Union Road. 

1:22 pm – A man was arrested after getting on a metro bus – for stealing a couple hammer guns from Home Depot. 

2:10 pm – A person was arrested for marijuana after being pulled over on Gierlach Street. 

2:12 pm – A vehicle was pulled over on Galleria near Union after the driver initially wouldn’t stop for police. The driver was arrested for possession of stolen property and a pit bull in the car had to be taken to the kennel. 

2:30 pm – Two people were taken to Sister’s Hospital for minor injuries after a crash on Kensington Avenue. One of the people needed to be extracted out of the car by Cleveland Hill firefighters. The vehicle struck a tree and a number of traffic signs and a street light.

2:39 pm – One person was taken to St. Joes after a crash on Walden Avenue.

7:09 pm – A police report was filed for an unattended death on Lackawanna Avenue. 

7:09 pm – Firefighters from Rescue Hose were called to fight flames at a home on Walden Avenue. It turned out to be an issue with the dryer vent. The fire was put out with an extinguisher. 

7:53 pm – Police were called to kick a Hispanic couple out of the Comfort Suites lobby on Dick Road. At the same time, the woman called police from the hotel and said the employee would not rent her a room. The couple was taken to the Quality Inn nearby. It turned out to be an issue over the pesos to dollars conversion. Everyone was advised by police. 

8:11 pm – A man in the cell block at police headquarters was taken to ECMC by ambulance because he was having heroin withdrawals.

11:19 pm – South Line firefighters administered Narcan to a person overdosing on Gardenvillage Drive. They were taken to St. Joes by ambulance.
