Cheektowaga man arrested in Amherst shooting

CHEEKTOWAGA – Amherst Police arrested Raaquim Mccrayer, 25, of Marne Road in connection with a shooting back in January.

The shooting took place on Hartford Road in Amherst.

Mr. Mccrayer was picked up at his Cheektowaga home by detectives from Amherst, along with assistance from Cheektowaga Police. 

He is charged with 1st-degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
