CHEEKTOWAGA – The Cheektowaga Central School District announces that registration for the 2018-19 kindergarten term will commence for new students on March 1st.
Children who turn 5-years-old by December 1, 2018, and are residents of the district are eligible for kindergarten according to the district. Students currently enrolled in the district’s Universal Pre-Kindergarten program do not need to register.
“If you registered your child in the District to attend UPK, you will not need to re-register your child to attend kindergarten, as long as they are a current student,” said District Registrar Libby Maeder.
Some parents may need to provide additional information. The registrar will contact you directly in those cases. An informational mailing will be sent to all other parents in February outlining the UPK-to-kindergarten enrollment process.
The registration period will commence on March 1st and will be ongoing throughout the spring and summer. Registration is by appointment only. For a kindergarten registration packet or an appointment to register, parents and guardians are invited to call the registrar at 686-3665 or email Registration@ccsd-k12.org. More information and downloadable forms are also available online at cheektowagak12.org under District, New Student Registration.
