More charges for Cheektowaga man who attacked his attorney

BUFFALO – The Erie County Sheriff’s Office has charged a Cheektowaga man following an attack on his attorney Friday.

Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports that Detectives have charged Mark Dublino, 54 of Cheektowaga, with a felony count of assault – while confined in a correctional facility and attempted assault – with intent to cause serious injury.

Mr. Dublino attacked his defense attorney, Joseph Terranova, while the two were meeting inside the Erie County Holding Center preparing for Mr. Dublino’s sentencing on March 12th.

Before the incident, the defendant was facing 75-years behind bars for a total of nine charges; two counts of Attempted Murder, four counts of Burglary, one count of Assult, and one count of Criminal Contempt.
