CHEEKTOWAGA – Video obtained by the Cheektowaga Police Department shows two women at the scene of a road rage assault that left one man injured this past December.

Matthew Rudy was on his way to work on December 19th when eyewitnesses say Maurice Scott, 31, of Buffalo acted aggressively towards Mr. Rudy, forced him to stop, and then pulled him out of his truck and severely beat him causing a hospital stay.
Mr. Scott was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.
Erie County District Attorney John Flynn has said that investigators had reasons to think there were a few women in the defendant’s car at the time of the road rage incident.
“Those females obviously have information about this incident. They have not been found yet. I would like to encourage those females in that car to come forward and tell us your side of the story as it happened. We’re going to do everything we can to find those individuals,” Mr. Flynn said.
