Cabin pressurization issues forces SkyWest flight to land in Buffalo

CHEEKTOWAGA – A SkyWest Airlines flight made an emergency landing at Buffalo Niagara International Airport Sunday.

First responders were alerted to the emergency around 12:50 pm.

The Bombardier CRJ200 was traveling from Detroit, Michigan to Newburgh, New York when it experienced cabin pressurization issues according to NFTA spokesperson Helen Tederous.

The plane with 32 souls onboard landed safely around 10 minutes later.
