Burglary suspect charged by West Seneca Police

WEST SENECA – Authorities in West Seneca collared a burglary suspect they say is connected to a number of burglaries on the border of West Seneca and Cheektowaga.

Liam Date of Cheektowaga was charged by West Seneca Police Wednesday following a joint investigation with detectives in Cheektowaga and North Tonawanda.

Police say he is responsible for a number of daytime burglaries this month around Clinton Street.  A press release from West Seneca authorities did not say why North Tonawanda Police was involved.

Mr. Date was charged with three counts burglary, one count of attempted burglary, and a number of related charges West Seneca police say.

Bail was set at $10,000, and he remains incarcerated at the Erie County Holding Center.
