Andrews Ave. man arrested after fleeing Buffalo police

BUFFALO – An Andrews Avenue resident was arrested by Buffalo Police after he bailed out a car following a police chase in Buffalo Sunday.

The Buffalo News reports that Jason L. Allison, 36, led Buffalo Police in a vehicle pursuit after they attempted to pull him over for driving at a fast speed.

A Monday morning request by Cheektowaga Chronicle to independently confirm this report was not answered by Buffalo Police late Monday afternoon. 

The car chase ended on Bailey Avenue when he bailed out of the car and led police on a short foot chase.  He was arrested a short time later.
